La guitare ne nourrit pas son homme, le piano si...
Naissance le 8 juin 1944 à Paris. Son père lui offre une guitare à l'âge de trois ans.
1951 : la famille Reinhardt s'installe à Samois. Rapidement, Django apprend le piano à son fils, pensant qu'il pourrait ainsi toujours accompagner une chanteuse pour gagner sa vie.

A bonne école
1953 : mort de Django d'une attaque cérébrale. Naguine pousse Babik à jouer de la guitare. Vers l'âge de 15 ans, il est initié à l'instrument par "Mitsou", le fils d'Eugène Vées, puis par Laro Sollero et René Mailhes. Il tâte du rock n'roll en faisant partie des "Glenners" (avec René Mailhes) de Jack Glenn (alias Jacques Verrières). Il découvre les musiciens américains Jimmy Raney, Wes Montgomery, Tal Farlow et aussi John Coltrane pour qui il gardera toujours une grande admiration.
1965 : Babik joue dans les clubs de jazz parisiens. Il s'enthousiasme pour la "fusion" et partage la scène des trois Maillets avec Jean-Luc Ponty durant plusieurs mois.

Birth on June 8, 1944 in Paris. His father gives him a guitar at the age of three.
1951: the Reinhardt family settles in Samois. Quickly, Django learns the piano from his son, thinking that he could always accompany a singer to make a living.

A good school
1953: death of Django of a cerebral attack. Naguine pushes Babik to play the guitar. Around the age of 15, he was introduced to the instrument by "Mitsou", the son of Eugène Vées, then by Laro Sollero and René Mailhes. He feels rock n 'roll by being part of "Glenners" (with René Mailhes) Jack Glenn (aka Jacques Verrieres). He discovers the American musicians Jimmy Raney, Wes Montgomery, Tal Farlow and also John Coltrane for whom he will always keep a great admiration.
1965: Babik plays in Parisian jazz clubs. He is enthusiastic about the "fusion" and shares the scene of the three Maillets with Jean-Luc Ponty for several months.
