Trained in the classical school like many violinists, Aurélien Trigo decided in 2003 to turn to gypsy jazz. And since this boy does not do things by halves, he will learn with the best: Florin Niculescu and Didier Lockwood. Excuse a little ... And if you like hanging out in the bars near Ménilmontant, you may have the chance to meet him in one of the wild oxen of the capital ...

Beginning of violin studies at the age of six, then classical training for 12 years, before turning to gypsy jazz and jazz in 2003, then graduated from conservatories in classical violin and music theory.

He will take a year of private lessons with Florin Niculescu, then work with Didier Lockwood for two years, but he will mainly learn this music by skimming the oxen in the capital.

He will also work Gypsy music with the violinist Costel Nitescu, then will make his first concerts in gypsy jazz in 2004, in particular with the various members of the Collective [swing gypsy], with which he will record a first disc, produced by Ghali Hadefi (Creator of Selmer # 607) but also with Sebastien Giniaux, Potzi, Rodolphe Raffalli, Samy Daussat, David and Noé Reinhardt ...
